The NY Jets are coming to Florham Park NJ.  What does that mean for Florham Park and the surrounding communities of Morris Twp., Chatham, Madison, & Morristown?

That is what Morris County, Madison, Chatham, Morris Township, Hanover, Morristown, & Florham Park intend to find out.  In a historic agreement the 7 governmental bodies have agreed to work together and split the costs of the traffic study.  This is the first time in history that this many government bodies have willingly agreed to work together on such a study.

The Seven governmental bodies have combined to do a traffic study.  The study is projected to cost about $179,000 and will cover the following intersections.

Chatham New Jersey: $16,500

Watchung Ave & Lafayette Ave
Main St & Hillside Ave
Main St & Lafayette Ave
Main St & Fairmount Ave
Main St & Passaic Ave

Hanover New Jersey: $10,500

Park Ave & Whippany Rd
Whippany Rd & Ford Hill Rd
Park Ave & Ford Hill Rd

Madison New Jersey: $30,000

Park Ave & Chateau Thierry Ave
Ridgedale Ave & Burnet Rd
Madison Ave & Danforth Rd
Madison Ave & Loantaka Way
Park Ave & Elm St
Madison Ave & Main St
Main St & Green Village Rd
Main St, Central Ave & Waverly Place
Main St, Rosedale Ave & Cross St

Morris Township New Jersey: $15,500

East Hanover Ave, Whippany Rd & Route 24
Madison Ave & Punch Bowl Rd
Madison Ave & Old Glen Rd
South Street to Woodland Ave

Morristown New Jersey: $7,000

Morris Ave & Washington Ave
Madison Ave & Normandy Parkway

It is possible that some of the traffic patterns in the area might actually be able to be improved.

Do you have any links that will take me to Chatham, Madison, or Florham Park government site or sites about the traffic issue? ...they all go to your real estate pages. I didn't see this traffic study there. THANKS

Thanks for the comment. The study has not taken place yet and there is no information on those government pages yet.
