So that you know my talk (text) is not just lip service. I have been working on my relatively new site for ranking over the past several months. I am proud to announce its rank has been achieved in the key word niche I chose. The niche words are Find RealEstate in Mobile Alabama. Notice the word real estate is all one word. A over site on my part. However it turned into a ranking wind fall. Granted on my not type it as one word. Sometime the searcher may. ThyssenKrupp Steel is a German based corporation coming to the Gulf Coast of Alabama. This will mean major growth for the region. The Corpration will be pumping over 3 billion dollars into construction of a state of the art steel manufacturing plant that will employee over 2600 people. over 20,000 people will be needed to build the facility. Its target date of operation is 2010. This development is said to be the largest development in the history of the United States. It has been a long 6 months with lots of computer time. Reaching out to other webmasters and searching for good directories and web sites to link to. Sending personal emails requesting links. Asking sometime calling and discussing the reason why my site is good enough to link to. Making the claim that it will grow in prominence and presence in the search engines. having to back that up with results but not being sure it will actually happen. Well as I hit most of my domains and other areas the other day I was happy to finally see that little bar on my browser with a little red mark!! That little Google page rank monitor shows page rank! One on the beautiful things about life and making money is having passive income streams. There are lots of gimmicks and tricks out there that many have tried. The common belief is that you can get rich quick. Well unless you hit the lottery good luck ! I for one have always been grounded in the belief of working smart and not hard is the answer. When I joined my company, one of the things that stood out was the offering of a second stream of income with sponsoring and mentoring of new agents. Word of mouth marketing (WOMM) -- a strategy in which you engage customers and get them talking about your service or products -- can help grow your business. Here are some tactics for implementing a successful WOMM strategy:

Use incentives to pass the word. A customer who loves your product or service will want to spread the word. Provide them with coupons to pass to other people, or offer them discounts for referrals. Some companies have WOMM elements built into the product, such as free person-to-person calling with people in the same mobile phone plan. This incites customers to recruit friends and family to the service.

Create a community. People like to be around similar people, so create a venue for their interaction, such as product user groups…

Give your pieces a "call to action." Make sure your printed materials, such as coupons, print ads, business reply cards and brochures, have a unique telephone number or URL prominently placed on the piece. Now that I am done with my volunteer work with habitat for humanity. Also finished with some training classes I have gotten back to building the presence of my Real Estate web site. Adding it to more directories and making a few more contacts.   My traffic is building slowly. Not as fast as I would like but I know it takes time. I had a surge of visits from my offline promotion.
