Hello Readers of Gulf Coast Real Estate News. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read our new Real Estate Magazine. This section will endeavor to share information on the use and relationship of Technology and Real Estate. Way back when working in Real Estate was a manual process. Now in this new millennium Technology has taken the Real Estate world by storm.

The general public’s use of the internet and the incorporation and use of Technology by the Real Estate practitioner has increased at a exponential rate. In the article block We will share news and information of the use and impact of Technology in Real Estate. It will cover a broad range of topics. From use of the internet and virtual tours, to the use of various hardware and software tools used in the Real Estate industry.

The internet has had the most influence and direct effect on Real Estate. Actually it has had a major impact on both sides of the isle. Giving the general public the ability to search for properties or find out market values. Agents also have the power of  having useful information and statistical data at their finger tips. Internet marketing techniques have improved over the years, bringing Real Estate along with it as and a powerful tool in marketing properties. Web site traffic and page views no mean gold to a popular web site with in formation about Real Estate, or effective search systems.

Those that relocate now have the ability to view properties in virtual tours and image files that give a life like feel for a property. The days of a purchase at a distance sight unseen are now a thing of the past. One simply needs to do a search. Effective search techniques also come into play. There is an art of searching the net. But it is easily mastered over time.

Increasing numbers of potential buyers and investors are exchanging information in online forums, downloading video and audio reports, tailoring Internet maps to their needs and reading blogs for news and opinion. We'll see blogs take off, maps take off, research-driven things like trends in the market, more tools on social networks.

As the trend increases the impact on print advertising will be impacted. At this point the affect is minimal. But as more and more of the public sees the power of a online search for
Real Estate being powerful means of finding information. There will be a major shift. Don’t worry, the good old news paper classified are not going any where soon.

There will be much more to com in the section of our News Letter. Keep your eyes pealed for the upcoming topics.
