Exit Teams with Habitat for Humanities

I have always been a community oriented person. One thing that I like about my company and the independent brokerage is that it too is community oriented. Exit International and all the Brokerages inside exit have been working with Habitat for several years. To date the entire company via a small donation taken from each transaction has given over $800,000 to habitat. This can be done because Exit Corp. does not sell Real Estate. All the Brokerages inside it are Independent Franchises.

I am a bit sore from the work yesterday and go out again today to Irvington Alabama. A short 45 minute drive from Mobile. We raised all of the walls on two homes that are being sponsored. One home is a 2/1 around 1100 square feet. The other a 4/2 around 1500 square feet. Seeing the look on the home owner gives one a sense of worth in the world. Also warm fuzzy , knowing a family will have a wonderful new home to live in.

The work was hard and intense. However I never noticed how much I was doing because of all the other Exit Corp. people that were there with me. The camaraderie , laughter and fun was off the chain. Everyone was up beat and intent on accomplishing the task at hand. Plenty of food and drink. Donations from sponsors with coffee and donuts. News coverage on out local news channels. I also hand the privilege of a personal on camera interview by the habitat vediographer. This will be great exposure for me all over the country and within habitat. Being part of a documentary of the build.
View more pictures of my friends and all the new friends I met. Some came from as far as Alaska and Canada.
