To be true, Raleigh was another name in the typically sleepy southern capital cities just a few decades ago. But all this changed in the later half of 1960’s when the city’s administration fina;ly woke up to all the industrial and commercial successes that the other capital cities elsewhere in the country were enjoying.
Raleigh is one of those rare cities which have changed so dramatically in such a short time to be named as one of the best places in the country to live in and do business. Raleigh is a beautiful city with some of the biggest names in corporate World having magnificent offices here. Apart from that there are also several research centers and some of the 
best Universities in all of North Carolina located in Raleigh. And often people wonder if Raleigh is a city which has so many parks or is the city located in the middle of a huge park
Located just a few miles from RTP, the must buzzing commercial center of Triangle Area, Raleigh is a city which is never too far away from anywhere. Great schools, excellent public health and medical facilities, malls, fine dine restaurants, malls and huge departmental stores make life a real pleasure at Raleigh. Raleigh's neighborhoods are varied and each special in thier own unique way
At Raleigh you’ll always find one or the other cultural activity going on. Whether it is the arts and crafts fest or live concerts or dance shows, the city is always abuzz with one activity or the other. And then there are the beautiful lakes, miles ling walking and biking trails, sports facilities etc to enjoy when you want to get away from the crowds.
Raleigh is a great city for those of you who love the high life because the speed at which the city is growing is really astonishing and at the same time quite appreciable. And dont forget North Raleigh, Its nieghborhoods are genearlly newer and yo8u'll get a littlemore land for your money
