It was eye-opening and I realized that I simply don't get out much, since we have three small children now.  I haven't been to most of these places at all.

Having lived in two different subdivisions in north Pflugerville over the past 12 years, we are very excited about the toll roads having opened (45 and 130 are both about a mile from our home).  With the new roads, we can get to the following places in 15 minutes or less:

Arboretum, Domain, Round Rock Outlets, Lakeline Mall, Georgetown

Now, they are opening a 1,000,000 square foot retail shopping area that is almost walking distance:

Needless to say, the prices are going up in Pflugerville and in nearby Hutto, both of which are along the 130 toll road.

After weeks of rain, the Austin, Texas market seems to be quite active again.  We had something like 45 straight days of rain (at least part of every day).  Once the sun came back out, I wrote four offers in one week! 

I have never seen the weather affect our market to this degree.  Hopefully, we will have a great remainder of the summer.
