Sports In Vancouver

Last time I've told you that it is not only real estate I'm interested in. I love to play golf and hike. I'm also a keen baseball fan. As you can see, sport is important for me. That's one of the reasons for one of the latest additions to my website. I have prepared a brand new section on wide variety of sporting and recreational activities for residents and visitors alike. 

Biking, running, sailing, swimming, ice skating, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, canoeing and kayaking - you could hardly name any kind of active or outdoor sport that won't be available in the Greater Vancouver area. No matter what your age, no matter what your sport, you’ll find it in and around Vancouver.

A Short History Of Vancouver

Vancouver is one of the most important cities and major economic centres in the world today. The population of its metropolitan area reached 2,187,721 last year, and all signs point toward continuing rapid growth. A couple of days ago I published a piece on the history of Vancouver. There, I offer a brief but extraordinary look into how this city evolved, with snippets of some major historical milestones.

Nature And Family

I have already introduced myself and my closest family members, and if you read my profile on the right hand side, you'll understand why I became a realtor.
Nature and sport also play a big part in my life. I love to play golf and hike. I'm also a keen baseball fan if anyone wants to talk ball and have an abiding interest in the the history of the American civil war and of the twentieth-century.

I live in Richmond and can often be found taking long walks with our dog Oksana near the dyke. Here is a picture of Oksana playing with my daughter Kathryn. She is in Russia in the Golden Ring.
