The Farm at Carolina Forest in Myrtle Beach, South CarolinaBelow is an update for The Farm at Carolina Forest active listings, pending sales, and sales during November 2007.  This information was gathered using the Myrtle Beach MLS.

Single Family Homes

- There are currently 65 active single family homes on the market in The Farm at Carolina Forest.  In addition to those 65 active on the market, there are 42 pending sales.  Active homes range in price from $174,900 to $424,000 with an average of $264,285.  There were four sales in November:

     1. 458 Carolina Farms Blvd. - $235,000
     2. 491 Carolina Farms Blvd. - $198,000
     3. 2488 Windmill Way - $325,000
     4. 2712 Coopers Court - $221,000

Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina is enjoying a long overdue redevelopment!  The Mall, strategically located where Business 17 and Bypass 17 merge, is undergoing renovations including an outdoor courtyard, updates to the floors, ceilings, lighting, seating areas, a complete overhaul of the food court, new parking lots, entrances, and more.  Additional lease space will be available, to the tune of over 100,000 square feet, housing two large anchor stores, as well as smaller shops.   F+F Development acquired the property at the end of 2006 and are expecting the project to be complete in time for 2007 holiday shopping!

Will The Hard Rock Theme Park Be Positive For Myrtle Beach Real Estate?

Hard Rock Theme ParkFor years now, people entering Myrtle Beach via Highway 501 have been sitting in traffic jams crossing over the Intracoastal Waterway and have unfortunately had to gaze upon the eyesore that was once the  thriving Waccamaw Factory Shoppes.  Ever since these shops closed, the area quickly became run down, dilapidated, and abandoned.  Most residents, including myself, are very optimistic that the Hard Rock theme park will restore life to that area of Myrtle Beach. 

The 400 million dollar, 140-acre Hard Rock Park will include six music themed zones, a Jamaican water play area, a 10,000 seat amphitheater, restaurants, and comedy shows.  It will also feature the tallest roller coaster in the state, themed after the famous band Led Zeppelin.  The Park is…
