Ground breaking for the new Panama City Florida International Airport.
The ground breaking is scheduled for November 1st!
The airport is scheduled to open sometime late 2009/2010. The construction of banks, commercial projects and additional housing has been underway in anticipation of this event.
This is very exciting news for our area and I for one welcome the event. It has been a long road, but finally a light at the end of the tunnel.
We are ready to move into the 21st century and welcome the change and business this brings to our area.
I'll post some pictures and video (if I remember to take my camera) on my website of the event. There should be a great turn out for this wonderful event.
