Panama City, Real Estate and things to do

For instance:
There's the Ebro Greyhound Race Track located on hwy 79 in Washington County. In addition to dog racing they have a sit down restaurant and card room. Jessie and I have spent many an evening having dinner and watching the dogs run as well as laughing at some of the funnier moments at the track (the professional pooper scoopers are hysterical).
The Breakaway Drag strip, an IHRA sanctioned race track is within a 40 minute drive from Panama City located just off hwy 231. This family entertainment venue has long been a local favorite with racers coming from all over the country. Thanksgiving weekend is one of their premier racing weekends. If you're in the area this weekend stop by and say hello, Jessie and I will be there. UPDATE: This weekends races have been cancelled due to weather :(
In other real estate related news: There's some new commercial real estate growth occuring just outside of Panama City and Bay County Florida in Washington county. Washington county is a short drive from Panama City and the International Airport. It's close proximity to Bay County is helping that area realize similar expansion opportunities to that of Bay County.
A new financial Headquarters location is being constructed in Panama City on 23rd Street. While the area has many large businesses, few have moved their Corporate head quarters to the area.
The best advice I can offer at this moment is to act now while there are still affordable real estate opportunities available in Panama City, Bay County as well as the neighboring counties.
