Thanks for the reminder thataway61,
I'm still updating the website. The annoucement came only today. Alot to do
Congrats! They are lucky to have you
Congratulations, Jennifer! Keller Williams is a great company.
Thank you Morgan and Louise. I am looking forward to starting the year with a brand new company. I've heard many good things about KW and welcome the opportunity to join the team.
Congratulations Jennifer, I think you made the right move!
What was it about KW that sold you on them?
Coastal, Thanks for commenting. There were many issues as I researched which broker to go with. I can not say emphatically it was one over another. What I can say is this: In comparison: KW - Gives me full control of my business KW- Has a much better intenet presence which I value greatly KW - Is a better financial situation for me as well. There are other reasons, but either way I'm glad I've moved.
Wait until you cap out Jennifer! Financial was my reason. There is some great training and technology too. For REW folks the training would be more helpful than the technology as most everyone here is way ahead of the curve. Lot's of the training model is available to anyone in the MREA book - but as an agent there are tools and training available to get you launched properly. If you take what is taught and put it to work, it will work in any market up or down. Most of us technology folks are very methodical and that is what the systems are all about - follow the system and utilize your technology skills to do so and you will methodically touch people that will become your clients over time. By the way it has not worked for the people that attend the training classes and then never follow up with a plan (and yes, I customized the plan to fit my personality and never cold call)! If you would like me to send you a copy of the MREA, then send me a PM and let me know your shipping details (I will ship collect).
MREA has to be the top RE book ever written. You do have to customize the plan to fit your abilities but it is the only book I have seen that actually tells you exactly how to build a Real Estate company and gives you specific info on expected results from various paths. It is a base to work from as you set up specific paths and goals to reach your destination!
My office is out their copies but we're supposed to get a few more in a week. Can't wait to read it, it sounds fascinating! Thanks for tips guys (and gals).
Congrats on the switch, wish you guys all the best in 2008!

Congratulations Jennifer! You should really enjoy KW Connect, be sure to watch "Your Business is Your Database" and then read the MREA book if you haven't.
