Canton Real Estate

Canton real estate has been steady, even though the national market has been down.  While new home builders have been struggling, resales have been moving.  Although many homeowners have had to lower their prices slightly, homes in Canton are selling at a higher rate than any other city in Cherokee County.  The addition of new commercial office buildings, restaurants, and recreation have helped Canton weather this storm.  The two main aspects of Canton real estate that separate it from other cities in the Atlanta real estate market are afford-ability and buyer diversity.

Afford-ability is also an attribute Canton real estate has compared to it's more expensive neighbors of Alpharetta and Cumming to the East.  Much lower taxes and average home price, is a big advantage.  Residents of Canton enjoy the same beautiful surroundings, activities, and shopping, as nearby cities, but at a substantially lower price.  This is the #1 point I make when trying to prove that buying Canton real estate is the right choice.  I am value oriented, and I like to show the same to my clients. 

Another great point about Canton is that there are homes for every type of buyer.  Popular lower-priced subdivisions in Canton include Carrington Farm, Mill Creek, and Barrett Farms.  These neighborhoods include wonderfully constructed homes priced well below 200k.  They are also very close to schools, shopping, and parks.  Higher priced subdivisions include Bridge Mill, Carmichael Farms, and Woodmont.  These are Golf and Equestrian communities that are sure to please.  And the nice aspect of BridgeMill that it contains homes priced from the 100s all the way to 1 million plus.
