Canton Real Estate - Canton Homes for sale

Canton real estate is a great market to be a part of.  I have been selling real estate here for over 8 years now and love it.  There is a great selection of homes, commercial property and land.  Shopping is now abundant, along with entertainment and recreation.  Canton currently has some great homes on the market.  Re-sales, new construction, and foreclosures and short sales round out whats now available.

Driving through this magnificent city, it's easy to see why so many people call Canton, GA home.  Beautiful subdivision entrances, great amenities, and excellent schools are a few likely reasons.  The huge building surge in the beginning of this decade has left the city of Canton with some very nice subdivisions and neighborhoods.  Most Canton, GA homes are built in the traditional style, but there are also many different style types such as Craftsman and Contemporary.  Buying a resale in the Canton real estate market is usually a good bet due to the wide selection.  Some of my favorite subdivisions include Orange Shoals, Bridge Mill, and Woodmont.

New construction in Canton is still making progress.  Even though the the Atlanta real estate and national markets are struggling, Canton seems to be keeping its head above water in new home construction.  Pulte homes is selling in Harmony on the Lakes and John Wieland is still making progress in Woodmont.  Both builders of course are reporting a slowdown in sales, but still continue to sell homes.

With the unfortunate circumstances nationwide, opportunity has opened up to some home buyers.  While no home market is immune from the foreclosure epidemic, the Canton real estate market has handled it well.  As with most, Canton foreclosures are usually a pretty good deal.  If you have the patience and the time to handle the slow bank negotiations, a great valued home awaits you.  Short sales take even more time, due to the multiple sign-offs from the lien holders.
