Enjoying Lake Travis, Texas

The Lake Travis area is one of the most beautiful in Texas.  Here, a number of amazing communities can be found, each offering the feel of small town living while still providing easy access to the amenities of a larger city.  Located on the Colorado River, the Lake Travis area is filled with natural beauty but is located only 20 miles northwest of Austin.

There are several unique communities in the Lake Travis area.  Each offers its own sense of culture, history and charm.  Among the communities in the Lake Travis area the Lakeway area is the most well known.  Lakeway features multiple golf course country clubs and marinas.  Two exclusive gated neigborhoods nearby are Costa Bella and Vineyard Bay - both have beautiful waterfront estate homes.  On the other sides of Lake Travis you have the city of Lago Vista and the village of Spicewood.  These towns have a more rural feel are are farther from downtown Austin.  Although each community offers its own unique style, they each are filled with natural beauty and numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation.  There are also a variety of shopping options and employment opportunities for its residents.

• Lakecliff Golf on Lake Travis – a par 71 course designed by Arnold Palmer and featuring rolling mounds, streams, lakes, ponds, and waterfalls.
• Twin Creeks Country Club – a course designed for players of all levels that offers two creeks and views of rocky outcroppings
