A little about me and my accent, well my old accent that is.

So ya like to hear more 'bout me, hey.  Well, I came from da land of Wiscanson. I like dem der brats and beer, ey.   Oh! Yah!  I grew up der fer about 18 years or so.  Den, I vent into da Navy fer some time der hey and den I moved to Texas and lost my accent.  If you are from the midwest and live elsewhere now,  check out this blog. http://blogs.jsonline.com/language/archive/2007/10/24/come-by-me-and-talk-milwaukee-ese.aspx  This is really funny.  I remember growing up as a kid and hearing this.  I never knew I had an accent till I moved away.  My favorite accent was the on my friend Heidi's dad had.  Her dad would talk about my car and say.  " Do ya have cruise on Dat Ting".  Hilarious,
