Exciting news has been running through Panama City Beach, Florida as Beazer Homes starts construction on its brand new community, Whisper Dunes.

This 75 acre development began almost two years ago. My assistant and I received a call from a southern region associate of Beazer Homes and were asked to come have lunch with two of their associates at the Bay Point Marriott. This meeting was to discuss my thoughts on the future outlook of Panama City Beach. After my thoughts were out on the table, they told me they want to bring a great community to our area with some of the best prices we've ever seen.

We have just listed a new Edgewater Beach Resort condominium in Panama City Beach and I just couldn't wait to share it with you all.

Panama City Real Estate Market continues to show positive trend  

 Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) today releases quarterly sales data for existing condos and homes, and Panama City stays upbeat.

Statewide, sales of existing condos declined 26 percent (9,622 units closed for Q3 2007 compared to 13,028 for the same quarter last year).  In contrast Panama City shows a net increase of 38 percent (127 existing condo units closed in Q3 2007 compared to 92 closings in Q3 2006) for the best showing in the entire state.  Panama City is followed by Fort Walton Beach with a 26 percent increase and Sarasota with a 15 percent increase.

I'm sure everyone has heard about the new Bay County International Airport, but if you haven't, you soon will.

The current Bay County Airport is situated in the heart of Panama City. Unfortunately, it's too small for the future development of Bay County. Over the past years, Panama City Beach real estate has experienced a tremendous growth spurt. In fact, it was possibly more than anyone could have imagined. With more Panama City Beach condos being built, a larger amount of tourist flocking in and more people moving to the area, we certainly needed a larger airport.
