Bay County International Airport

I'm sure everyone has heard about the new Bay County International Airport, but if you haven't, you soon will.

The current Bay County Airport is situated in the heart of Panama City. Unfortunately, it's too small for the future development of Bay County. Over the past years, Panama City Beach real estate has experienced a tremendous growth spurt. In fact, it was possibly more than anyone could have imagined. With more Panama City Beach condos being built, a larger amount of tourist flocking in and more people moving to the area, we certainly needed a larger airport.

Well, everything changed after the Bay County International Airport Groundbreaking Ceremony, on the first of November. Over a thousand people attended the ceremony, much to the surprise of the event planners.

It was said that the airport will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2010.
