Tired of Ranking #28 for Great Falls Virginia Real Estate!#!@
Update 5/26/2011. So i've gone from like 43 to #9 in google for the great falls search discussed below. The tag made all the difference. About 11 articles with the appropriate tag and then some links from other sites to that tag of the REW blog on my domain has brought me to page 1.
BING--- But in that time bing took me to the top with that tag #3 . Bottom line, google loves REW and google loves tags. Don't overdo the tags as I give examples below--pick one and use it for authority.
After showing a bunch of $1,000,000 homes in Great Falls Virginia and even $3.5 million dollar homes I've begun to question why was I focussed on $400,000 condos for so many years? Well I just sort of got started in that niche and the next thing you know I was dominating big time which translated into a lot of $$$.
But selling a few Great Falls Virginia homes for sale in
addition seems like a great idea, because last time I checked the
commission on a $2,500,000 home was nice.
It's the benefit of being at a 95 or 100% split. For years
it's been one of those good ideas on the back burner because I was
too busy. We all have those don't we?

What Will One Blog Post a Week on Great Falls Virginia Real Estate Listings Do?
I've preached to others they should get real estate blogs and be nichey and they could be towards top of google. And I've done it but I'm dying to see if it will work for me starting from scratch...? I've sort of given up on my main Great Falls Virginia homes for sale page. So instead I'm going to focus on the tag great falls virginia real estate and see if that has more success!
Past SEO Mistake I Made with Blog Tags....
Each week I'll make a blog post on my domain and will ONLY tag it as such. I've made the mistake for year of trying to have tags for too many derivates of main keywords for an area such as "arlington virginia real estate" "arlington virginia homes for sale" and "arlington va real estate". If I would have only used 1 of those tags from the beginning it would have been much more effective. Instead I shot myself in the foot for years by trying to get too detailed on city state offshoots of tags that overlapped and took away the blog's credibility from a google algorithm perspective--at least that's my theory. Anyone anyone???
