Wilmington NC is the hidden gem of North Carolina and perhaps the entire east coast.  Locals say it's 2 hours away from civilization -- Raleigh and Charlotte.  Locals are disturbed the rest of North Carolina is over represented politically in terms of policy making.  On the other side of the coin we love being largely undiscovered by the masses.
