The sad story of ePerks suing Vlad Zablotskyy of
Go-Beyond-MLS.com is growing throughout the Internet. Vlad, a
real estate blogger, was one of ePerks many paid reviewers.
Vlad gave them a positive review but his blog started receiving
negative comments from real estate agents that felt they were
burned by ePerks.
After reading these comments and doing a little research, Vlad posted another review asking if "ePerks was a gem or a scam?" More comments came his way, many from the same ip. Seemed like those were positive messages and it is assumed that these posts were from ePerks employees.
To make a long story short, ePerks sent Vlad a cease and desist letter and requested that he remove all negative comments. In fact, they also asked him to remove his own comments from other people's blogs. He started complying, going as far as requesting his comments be removed, something a blog administrator did not have to do.
Vlad decided this wasn't right and began to take a stand and was then threatened with a lawsuit. After a wait the papers were served. The lawsuit was filed in California and Vlad is from New Jersey.
Greg Swann decided to set up a legal fund to help support Vlad with his costly defense. I have donated and urge all of you to do the same. Click the Donate button to offer whatever you can afford. In my opinion, lead generators rip real estate agents off to begin with. But to have a lead generating company that wants real estate agents to line their pockets and act in the manner that ePerks has, we need to say ENOUGH!
If you have other blogs, post about this. If you're part of real estate forums share the story or keep an existing thread going. We need to show ePerks that by doing this to a fellow blogger they are causing themselves more bad press than Vlad's little blog ever could.

Thanks Judy for bringing this to our attention , I will add this to our blogs when I have a chance, can't stand these third party sites and this stuff makes me hate them more.

So is it official, is eperks actually taking legal action against Vlad??
judyo
Vlad was served and that is why the legal defense fund was created for him.

I'm going to take a look at this, but it looks like another lead company up to their same old tricks.
Thank you so much for posting this.

This goes way beyond a lead company up to the same old tricks. I don't know of any lead company or service vendor for real estate doing something like this.
In fact, I've panned Zillow many times and although they send their minions to defend themselves, they are always very nice and polite and try to explain their side. Much different than actually suing someone!

It sounds like this guy who runs eperks just does not like to have his company exposed as even worse than a waist of time and money. It is sad that in this country if you have money you can make the law work for you, even if you are totally in the wrong. I say stand up for your rights Vlad, and shame on you eperks, you would be much better served to go back and figure out some sort of business plan that works and contributes to society.
