Let me tell you about myself

As this is my first weblog post, I've decided to tell you a little bit about myself.

I am 38 years old, born in Vancouver, BC. I grew up in the Lawrence Park area of Toronto. I attended Carleton University, in Ottawa, Ontario. Previous to real estate, I was a multiple award winner with College Pro Painters for 5 years as a Franchisee in Ottawa, and in Toronto as a Field Advisor and General Manager. I am a cancer survivor since October 2000.

My personal interests include - Love my darling dogs Bella and Mickey (the newest addition to my family). I love to downhill ski, ride my mountain bike, rollerblade, and swim. I have been an active Fundraiser for Camp Oochigeas (camp for kids with cancer). I grew up loving overnight camp - and attended Camp Oconto as camper & staff for 14 years!

The two rare cats pictured on the right are the most exotic Christmas gift I have ever received: the two Cornish Rexes arrived in 2003 - that is Scout (mostly grey) and Scooter (mostly white). Special dog and cat training has led to very happy co-existence with Bella and Mickey.

I own a home with my partner Mary Palacios in Roncesvalles Village, and bought my first house in High Park in 1995. I have owned houses and a condo. Mary and me feel very fortunate to own a wonderful cottage in the Haliburton Highlands where we can get away year round. As a homeowner I can relate closely to the decision making involved in real estate transactions. I simply love my work as a Toronto realtor.
