Just curious if anyone has had any recent success on getting their website added to dmoz.org? I attempted to submit my Saskatoon real estate site several months ago and haven't seen it posted yet. I know that it is a human edited directory and it can sometimes take a long time. I did apply to become an editor but have not heard anything back from that either. Does having your website listed in dmoz.org still carry a lot of weight for search engine rankings? Thanks! Read Full Post

I know that some areas have been hit harder than others and in most cases it is a buyers market. I often look on public sites and classifieds and read about people who have been given eviction notices, not much notice, nowhere to go, etc. I feel really bad for these people, so what is going on with our system?
