In the last 15 months a total of 1,080 permits have been issued through March of 2007 for single-home construction. With the roadways being improved and I-45 being expanded from Houston, traffic will be coming up from the south as Houston spreads out. The increased shopping on the north end of town, with the Outlet mall and the new stores on the southeast corner of I-45 and FM 3083 finds shoppers staying in the Conroe area rather than traveling in the traffic to Houston. All of these factors will bring home values up and that is a great thing for our residents.
