Independence Day Celebration!

Independence is something that we all certainly take for granted. I know that I do many times.  When the 4th of July comes around and we have family and friends over at our home we can remember what others did for us to insure that we have a safe and prosperous country.  In celebrating this occassion, our family went to the fireworks show in The Woodlands, Texas. We shopped earlier in the evening at the famous Market Square right near The Woodlands Waterway and The Woodlands Mall. I always enjoy going  here in the evening where we walk from one quaint little store to the next and eat at Tommy Bahamas or Chipoltle. The fireworks started at 9:00 p.m. and continued for at least 20-25 minutes boasting many colors and designs. The large crowd that lined the streets and the mall parkinglot remarked how  beautiful it was and what a joy to wait for this climax to a "perfect" day.  The show was spectacular and very typical of the commitment to family and outdoor recreation and beauty that The Woodlands always tries to uphold.  What a great place to live and a great country to be a part of!
