Sausalito - Casselberry's Best Kept Secret

I highlight a lot of communities on my website, but sometimes I feel like some great neighborhoods are falling through the cracks due to small size, out-of-the-way location, or age. One of the reasons I'm excited about having this blog is because I get the opportunity to showcase what I think are truly among the best places to live in Central Florida.

Today I'm going to talk about a neighborhood that I think is one of the best-kept secrets in Casselberry.

One of Seminole County's most wonderful lakes is Lake Howell, located in the heart of Casselberry. It's a beautiful, spring-fed lake that's perfect for boating, fishing, jet skiing and water skiing, with a large amount of waterfront real estate around it.

Nestled on its Northern shore is Sausalito, a great little community of single-family homes and condos. Its two and three bedroom homes have perfect sized yards for anyone wanting to spend less time on lawn maintenance and more time having fun on the lake or the tennis courts.

These homes here are bright and airy with vaulted ceilings in the great rooms, relaxing screened porches and, in many, fantastic stone fireplaces.

Access to Lake Howell, as well as tennis courts, a club house, a boat ramp, dock, children's play area, and boat storage parking is granted with a small homeowner's fee.

The three bedroom homes are currently available in the $250,000 price range with the two bedroom homes listed for even less than that.

I lived in Sausalito for 15 years and loved my time there. With its beautiful homes and convenient amenities, I think Sausalito is definitely one of Casselberry's best-kept secrets.
