Seminole Florida Real Estate

Located approximately just south of Clearwater and northwest of Saint Petersburg, Florida the small city of Seminole has much to offer the person looking to relocate to Florida’s warmer climate.  With a population of less than eleven thousand, the town still has all the amenities that one would look for in setting up a new home.  The small town atmosphere appeals to both young families and older retirees alike.

The city boasts seven public elementary schools, two public high schools along with a vocational school and two private elementary schools.  Seminole schools have a high reputation among home buyers and many families actually move to Seminole due to the highly rated school choices. Numerous colleges and institutions of higher education are available in the surrounding cities, many just a few miles away.   Seminole shopping, fine dining and nightlife are all within a few miles no matter which direction you travel, and the famous Gulf beaches are only a short drive away.

With the proximity of cities like Saint Petersburg and Tampa, employment opportunities abound without a long morning and evening commute.  Residents of Seminole enjoy a low unemployment rate and very little crime.  With less than two hundred new house construction permits issued in 2005, Seminole is growing, but not at an alarming rate.

Seminole offers the best of all worlds, small town living with big city amenities nearby.  Because of its smaller size, the Seminole Florida real estate market is priced to sell, typically for thousands less than equitable property available in the nearby larger cities.
