To register or not to register...that is the question!

Our Apartment Locating agency in Austin, Texas listed on the internet as LonghornApts.com requires our website visitors to register, our coversion rate is low, but the clients that register are of excellent quality.  This registration process allows us to work with great clients, so for now the answer is "to register".

I would keep the registration if I were you. Filters the serious ones from the not-so-serious ones. Quality over quantity. Good luck.

I offer an MLS VOW (all active MLS listings) for Northern IL and registration is mandatory.  I get a lot of registrations as I explain the difference between our VOW and our pitiful IDX (too many brokers opted out for some reason).  Prospects have a choice of getting a small percentage of available listings using IDX vs. getting all active listings registering for VOW.  A real buyer should want all of the listings.
