I began my web career at a dot com start up in lower Manhattan (World Trade Center to be exact). Starting as a web developer, I worked my way up to upper/middle management by becoming a web product manager of a job board called CareerEngine.com. If you have a good memory, you can remember that the end of the dot com boom came about just before the Trade Center was hit by the terrorists. Lucky for me, being a middle manager, I was let go 2 months prior to the attack. How did I get involved in real estate you ask? Right after the attack, I used the money from my severance package to start a web company that provided web application work to real estate agents. Before long I realized I can make more money utilizing my knowledge technology than I could selling it. I signed on with a real estate company and worked exclusively for them. Now I am the technology director for the company and looking to propel it into the top position in our market.
