Once In Awhile The Owners Do Everything Right!
Some people are just a pleasure to work with!
We just listed a beautiful house for sale here in Payson, AZ. We sold them this home in 2005. It was built in 1989, and was somewhat dated, but had "good bones". The Owners did a great job of modernizing it (they have excellent taste), removing some architectural details which were very '80s, updating the kitchen with appliances and a skylight with tract lighting, lovely laminate, modern carpeting, custom paint and blinds. Unfortunately they can't stay in Payson. So they called about listing the home for sale.
Now the housing market may not be as bad in Payson as in some areas, but Buyers are rather scarce on the ground right now. The good news is that more homes have sold in their subdivision (Alpine…

4th Of July In Payson, Arizona
Come to Payson for the 4th!!
The 4th of July, in small town Arizona! Can you get any more American than that? Consider yourself invited to Payson's 4th of July celebration! There are activities in the park during the day; but the main attraction, the fireworks, start at dark, at Payson's Green Valley lakes at the end of Main Street. At least half the town shows up with blankets and lawn chairs and covers the grass around the lakes.
This photo is taken from the deck of one of…

We just listed this home for sale. The Owner didn't want it on MLS until we could take some good pictures, which we did last weekend. We put it on MLS Monday and have an offer (albeit low-ball) already. This home is PRICED RIGHT!
It's a site-built home on a large lot in a subdivision called Mesa del Caballo. The subdivision is about 2 1/2 miles NE of Payson, out Houston Mesa Rd. The views on the drive are absolutely beautiful. Mesa del has no mandatory Home Owners' Association, so the properties can vary a lot. If you value independence and individuality, this might be the place for you.

Payson North Listing- What A Great Area In Payson, AZ.
We just listed a home in Payson North subdivision,in the town of Payson. Payson is a small town about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs drive North of the Phoenix area. It has a mild, four-season climate. Phoenix is supposed to be 100 degrees today, we are high 80's. The air is clear, the traffic is (relatively) light, the pace of life is relaxed.
Payson North is one of the original "nice" neighborhoods in Payson. There can be found there everything from older, single-wide mobile homes to newer manuafactured homes to nice, large site-built homes. Most all of the properties, even the older ones, are well maintained and kept up. It is a desirable neighborhood for renters. It is also a somewhat more affordable area for Buyers when compared to some of the newer…
Read Full PostCome Visit- But Don't Burn Us Up!
Hi, from Payson, Arizona.
I have a long list of things that are great about Payson, but one thing that ISN'T great is fire danger. And this is the season. This time of year we watch for smoke, we sniff for smoke, and we dread smoke. We also start thinking about what to take if we get evacuated when a fire gets close. Our conclusion: take personal items we can't replace.
Some fires are lightning-caused, but all too many are caused by people. One of the worst fires in Arizona was caused by people who ignored the "Forest Closed" signs, went in anyway, got lost, got dehyrated, and started a fire ON PURPOSE to signal for a rescue. That fire burned a large part of the Heber/Overgaard area. Folks around there wore T-shirts after that read "I survived the…
