For the past 3 years, Build It Green has provided eco-minded homeowners, architects, and builders with ideas and inspiration for designing and building homes in a more environmentally friendly manner.   These green home tours provide attendees with an opportunity to see actual implementation of green building practices in single-family residences throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Following the overwhelming success of past Green Home Tours throught the San Francisco Bay Area, the Build it Green organization will once again host a series of house tours in the Bay Area in both the Spring and Fall of 2008.   These two shows will serve as a timely follow-up to one of the most recent events which featured eco-friendly homes in Marin, California.
 

Build it Green Homes Tour 2008

This years Build it Green Tour will showcase private homes from both the San Francisco South Bay (Silicon Valley) and East Bay (Contra Costa and Alameda County).  Event and venue details are as follows:

What: East Bay Green Homes Tour
When: Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 10AM-5PM
Cost: $30.00 per person or $50.00 for two people

What: South Bay Green Homes Tour
When: Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 10AM-5PM
Cost: $30.00 per person or $50.00 for two people

Guidebooks (which serve as your 'ticket') for the green homes tour, may be purchased online.    We hope to see you at this worthwhile event featuring the best of green building practices in the San Francisco Bay Area.
