Finding the right balance between city and community life is always difficult, as is finding a property that is freehold and affordable, yet The Meadows seems to tick all the boxes.  As an integral part of the Emirates Living Community, located next to the Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Media City, this group of freehold developments also includes The Springs, The Lakes and Emirates Hills.  Each project offers something different to prospective buyers, with high end luxury at Emirates Hills or the more affordable Springs.  The Meadows fits into the middle-income bracket with affordable and spacious villas.

The villas are available as three, four, five, six and even seven bedrooms, all with a choice of dimensions and square footage, catering to couples, small families and larger families.  The facilities are of a high standard with the usual swimming pools and gymnasiums, yet an added bonus of being part of Emirates Living means that shops, cafes, supermarkets and even schools are all part of the entire complex.  The community has excellent security, quiet streets and is really a great place for a safe and peaceful way of life away from the hectic city.

The Dubai property market has really seem a boom over the past few years that continues even now, and as one of the first projects to be released and completed, demand for villas at The Meadows is very high.  The availability of villas on general compared with apartments is very low, and to find affordable housing is even rarer, yet The Meadows remain good value for money despite the inflation of prices from their initial release.  Early buyers have enjoyed excellent returns from their investment, and new buyers get a great place as a permanent home.

There are few drawbacks to buying property at The Meadows as it looks like the shortage of villas will continue at least for several more years, meaning that demand will remain.  While there were initial complaints about quality of build, many of these problems were down to the initial months of the properties being completed and now that the project has been completed for a couple of years, these teething problems have since been resolved.  At the end of the day, freehold property is a new and exciting venture for Dubai real estate and as a flagship project by a flagship developer, The Meadows are a viable option if you are looking for a place to call home in Dubai.
