Every resident of Dubai has one big complaint to make, not including the traffic of course, and that is the price of renting accommodation these days.  It seems like only yesterday that most expatriates were able to comfortably afford the costs of renting apartments and villas in Dubai; in fact, most families did live in huge villas.  Fast forward to the Dubai property boom and now rents are soaring beyond the reach of almost everyone.  It is common to see families moving out of their villas into apartments and even people leaving the country because rent eats up too much of their savings.  The primary reason for people living in Dubai is to save on high taxes back home, but if you are paying out the difference on accommodation that you don’t own, is it worth it anymore?

Freehold property could be the answer

All residents that are fed up of paying out their monthly salaries on property that will never be theirs, but want to stay in the country, should really consider buying property here.  Most people would agree it is better to pay a mortgage every month for a villa or apartment that is yours, than to toss your money away.  Many residents have already taken this step by investing in Dubai real estate on one of the many projects across the city and just outside the city.  Overall, most buyers are content, especially early buyers whose properties are now worth incredibly more than they paid for them, but this doesn’t mean that current buyers are shut out.

Dubai property brokers, choose the right one

Since the margin for profits is slimmer at present, most property buyers are looking for a property to call home, not to sell on immediately.  This doesn’t mean that people are not looking for a bargain, and the best way to get a great piece of Dubai real estate at the right price is to use the resources of a reliable real estate agent.  We can find you the properties that suit your tastes, any new properties that have just entered the market, and even underrated properties that are lower in price due to less commercial attention.  There is so much choice on the Dubai property market that buyers can be overwhelmed with the process of purchasing so use a broker to ease your stress.

Get back to the Dubai lifestyle you once had

Moving from a large villa to a smaller apartment can be a strain on your lifestyle here, and part of living in Dubai is the great lifestyle.  Get your villa in Dubai back by buying your own home.  At the moment, there are a shortage of villas on the market and this is currently being rectified with the addition of more villa communities that are both luxury and affordable.  Look at Uptown Mirdiff and Jumeirah Village for the more budget side of the scale, and the many sub-developments at Dubailand, which will offer different styles of luxury and unique living.

Don’t spend your earning on the high rental rates of Dubai property, take advantage of the fact that property is available on the freehold market, and put that rental income towards your own home.
