As one of the earliest freehold developments to be released on the Dubai property market, Emirates Hills continues to set the bar for what wealthy investors should expect from buying.  Located near to the Emirates Golf Club, and just across the road from other key developments like Dubai Marina and the Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Hills is the epicentre of the Emirates Living Community that also includes The Meadows, The Lakes and The Springs.  As the most expensive, most exclusive and most luxurious property development in Dubai, we wonder if new and upcoming projects can really compete with this one that continues to attract many buyers.

It is really difficult to predict if the landscape of Dubai property will change much over the next few years, as there are so many projects in the works.  With the Dubailand project underway, other developments such as Jumeirah Village and the completion of the Palm Jumeirah, the best place to live in Dubai just might move to one of these locales.  At the moment, Emirates Hills has held off the competition due to the standard of living there, and the good location with easy access to the city.  Up to now, freehold projects have been based outside the main city of Dubai, but with the rapid progress on Downtown Dubai, people might start to see this as a better option for living, especially with all the traffic!

Despite all these new projects, the main selling point of Emirates Hills is exclusivity.  While most people would dream of living there, the cost of buying the properties, combined with the small number of units available means that this Dubai property development is reserved for the super wealthy.  The build standard is very high quality, and all homes are spacious inside and outside.  None of the houses overlook one another, which has become a problem with other freehold developments where the homes are luxurious and spacious, but your neighbours are only a few feet away.  Life at Emirates Hills really does represent the Beverly Hills of the Middle East.
