Dubai's best places to eat

For new Dubai residents, there is no shortage of great places to eat, as every type of cuisine is available here. The best restaurants are harder to find, and since people can be choosy, there are many places in the city that have a number of restaurants to choose from. Here are the best mixes restaurant venues in Dubai, for new and old residents.
Dubai Marina
While the freehold apartments here are excellent, the choice of dining options is also impressive. The Marina Walk sits along the shoreline below the apartment blocks and features a great selection of restaurants and cafes, with indoor and outdoor seating. You won’t find better to go to when the weather is great, as you can sit by the marina and look out over the Arabian Sea, the surrounding freehold community, and all the nice yachts.
Century Village
On the other side of town, Century Village remains a firm favourite with old and new residents, not to mention the many tourists that visit. As part of the Dubai Aviation Club, this venue hosts the annual tennis open, as well as many other events and its biggest draw is surely the Irish Village, the local pub that is a popular hangout with the locals. The choice of restaurants here is excellent, and every type of cuisine is available with outside seating. The Century Village is extremely lively during the winter months.
Festival City
This is the newest of Dubai’s many restaurant venues, and the choice will include both regular and licensed venues. With a choice of bars and restaurants in a great setting set to open soon, with outdoor seating and views over a manmade canal system, this is sure to attract residents in the area, and residents on the other side of the city that are looking for something new to try.
Madinat Jumeirah
A firm favourite with everyone on the Jumeirah side of Dubai, the Madinat is an expansive hotel and shopping resort, featuring the largest selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs all under one roof. The variety here is phenomenal, and whether you are a long time resident, newcomer, or just visiting, this complex is worth a look just for the magnificent architecture and beautiful waterways.
