As the U.AE. property scene continues to grow at a phenomenal pace so do the Emirates which launch the freehold status/ownership and the latest to do so is Ajman a smaller city located to the North of Dubai.First a little about the City of Ajman itself:
As one of the seven Emirates which makes up the U.A.E. having an area of around 270 square kilometres which makes it by far the smallest Emirate in the U.A.E. but don't let that put you off as many years ago Dubai property was not so big and look at it now! It borders Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain and is located along the coastal line of the Persian Gulf approx 96% of its population actually live in the city of Ajman itself with a population of around 37,000 so the prospect as finally being able to buy in this City has been welcomed by both local residents and outside investors.
Now onto the actual Ajman property and why its been the focal point of many recent launches lately which usually sell out in a matter of hours by the way! Why is this you ask? Well I think the property market in Dubai is well out of your normal working class citizens budgets these days with studios at around AED 500,000 or more, making it very hard to "get on the ladder" in Dubai. Therefore many people who are looking at entry in the U.A.E. market have been waiting patiently for something more affordable which will give them freehold ownership and residence visa that comes with the title deeds of the property.
Although Ajman property is still in its infancy we all expect great things to come from this market place in the near future as some of the off plan projects look to rival that of Dubai but with that big difference of price!
