Dubai Property Developers

With so much property available on the Dubai real estate market, buyers can often become overwhelmed, but an important rule is to compare projects based on the developers.  There are many property developers on the Dubai property market, but there are only a few large developers that are recognised for their quality and good reputation, so if you want to invest safely, look to buying from one of these.

Nakheel is the largest property developer in Dubai, and is responsible for a whole range of projects from the innovative and luxurious, to the interesting and affordable.  With so many projects on the market already, and many more on the way, Nakheel is a good option for property buyers that are not completely familiar with Dubai real estate procedures.  Nakheel projects include The Palm Jumeirah, International City, Jumeirah Islands and Discovery Gardens.  Projects due in the near future include the Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira, The Waterfront, Jumeirah Village, Jumeirah Park, The World Islands and many more.

Emaar is the flagship developer of the United Arab Emirates, as the first to announce a freehold project on the market.  Since then, Emaar has become responsible for a whole range of quality housing developments, and currently the developer hopes to further establish itself as a global property developer with more exciting projects within Dubai, and beyond.  Projects include Emirates Hills, The Lakes, The Springs, The Meadows, Arabian Ranches, The Greens and Dubai Marina.  The upcoming Downtown Dubai and Burj Dubai tower are eagerly awaited.

Dubai Holding Group is relatively less well known, but is responsible for some of Dubai’s largest upcoming developments such as Business Bay Dubailand and Dubai Sports City.  We expect some exciting property from this developer as the phases of these iconic projects are complete.  Union Properties is much smaller than the other developers, but still holds an important place in the Dubai rental property market and the Uptown Mirdiff and Green Community freehold projects.  Other developers in Dubai include Damac, Sama Dubai, Vakson and Schon, as well as a number of overseas developers.
