Dubai Waterfront Property

Waterfront property is always the most popular in any country, and Dubai is no different.  With such an extensive coastline, finding waterfront real estate in Dubai is full of options.  From apartments to villas, there is a large amount of choice in freehold property, and although properties with vistas of the Arabian Sea are more expensive than others, they are the perfect investment if you want to live close to the beach.

The Palm Jumeirah is perhaps most recognised for offering waterfront property, particularly due to the projects’ extension of the Dubai coastline.  Apartments line the trunk of the Palm, while luxury villas line the fronds of the Palm and no matter what you choose, you will get either a private piece of beachfront or a beautiful beach just below your property.  The Palm is now complete so property investors can now see what all the fuss is about, and based on first impressions, the Palm Jumeirah is a definite good investment for most property buyers.

The Dubai Marina was the first area to offer freehold property to expatriates, with the launch of Emaar’s original Dubai Marina Towers.  Since 2001 when freehold was launched, this development has extended incredibly to include numerous sub-developments from a multitude of reputable property developers, and now covers the entirety of the man made marina.  Owning a property at Dubai Marina has the added advantage of living in a vibrant district that is now known as New Dubai, and since it has been established for some time, all amenities and services are already in place.  For specific beachfront property at Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence is the largest single apartment development in the world, and lines the front coastline of the district.

For other waterfront property, not confined to views of the sea, the numerous other properties available to freehold buyers in Dubai feature lakes or views of the Dubai Creek.  For Business Bay, what will soon be a busy financial district, the Creek has been dredged inland so that the many buildings lie around the creek.  For Downtown Dubai, the middle of the project will feature a manmade lake around the Burj Dubai Tower.  Jumeirah Lake Towers is another business-centred freehold project with over 80 different towers spread out across four lakes.  With such a great choice of waterfront property available, there is no shortage of properties that offer great views out over the waterfront.
