Buying Dubai Property During The Summer

Dubai MarinaWhile the summer is usually the time when the property market slows down, think again this year. With such high levels of demand from the start of autumn when new residents flood into Dubai and current residents come back from their holidays, more and more property buyers are using the summer months to try to find the best deals for freehold property on the market before the prices go up.

If you are looking to buy a property in Dubai, now is the time to take action and choose a property.  The next few months are extremely significant in the Dubai property market, when property turnover lowers and the market cools slightly.  With more and more people realising that the market is going to stay in boom indefinitely, and that arrival of new residents will bring in more demand for both rental and freehold property, this is the best time to buy a property in Dubai if you are a serious buyer.  Property prices are set to rise a massive 10% between now and the start of the busy season, upon which they are expected to increase further.  Don’t waste your time and money by waiting for a property to lower in price, as all signs are point to that scenario not happening.

With a large collection of finished properties already on the market, as several developments set to release units at the end of the year, you can certainly find a property to suit you without the long wait for projects to be completed.  The Springs, The Meadows, The Lakes, Arabian Ranches, Uptown Mirdiff, Dubai Marina, The Greens, The Views, Palm Jumeirah, Burj Dubai Downtown, Jumeirah Lakes Towers are just some of the projects that are on the market for you to buy or will be completed shortly.  All of these properties are in excellent locations, both outside the city and within the heart of Dubai, so buyers have the ultimate choice of apartments, town homes and spacious villas.

If off-plan is more to your tastes, the same rules apply.  Just don’t wait to buy your dream home much longer as property prices will only go up and if you buy now, your property will be worth more than you pay for it in just a couple of months.  If you are worried that properties will not be listed as much over the summer, don’t worry, most properties are listed with the best property brokers in Dubai, and given that people only leave for holidays for a couple of weeks, you can sort out viewings in the same way you would the rest of the year.  It may be summer and the weather may be hot, but you can certainly get a cool deal on property by moving early.
