Property Prices In Dubai Still Offering High Premiums

Dubai MarinaIt’s no longer really much of a secret that Dubai off plan property offers a great investment for those looking towards property. It has long been broadcast that the premiums obtainable on off plan property offer investors the best bang for their money. With an estimated 9 out of every 10 property buyers preferring off plan property in Dubai real estate, many might be right to question why?

Well you can brand around many reasons, but the simple fact it that freehold off plan property will obtain premiums just not possible with already completed property. From an investment perspective, even now in the Dubai property market, good returns can still be seen on off plan property. Sure, in today’s market climate you have to be a little more clever and selective than a few years back, but the fundamental principles remain the same and investors looking to sell Dubai property are still reaping the rewards.

Premiums of around 70% up to a staggering 200% a year are still being reported on some developments. Now compare this to the 15 to 30% annual premiums typically seen on completed freehold properties in the Dubai property market and you don’t have to be a mathematical genius to figure out which option offers the best investment for your money. Whilst ready completed property certainly has its own merits, and still remains a very viable option, looking at things from a purely investment perspective, off plan free hold still remains the top dog.

You need only look to some of Dubai Properties developments in the Dubailand development to witness first hand the benefits to be had from off plan property. Both the Villa project and Mizin are set for completion in the next 6 months or so, and have both have seen premiums in excess of 200% in the last 2 years. And as completion in the developments draws ever closer, so too can you expect prices to and property premiums to also progress.

Dubai still has a good deal of off plan property on the market from which interested buyers can pick. And with the global credit crunch taking its toll on many other forms of investment, Dubai property remains a very good investment choice. With so many options from which you can still choose, its certainly worth while your time to take a minute to look over what could potentially be a lucrative future investment.
