Dubai has not been shy is attracting big names to partake in the design and planning of developments and resorts, and with Jumeirah Golf estates they have really hit the jackpot. With Dubai Sports City featuring names such as Manchester United, Butch Harmon and David Lloyd, and the Burj Dubai featuring an Armani Hotel and apartments designed by the man himself, Dubai is no stranger to famous names. And with Jumeirah Golf estates, some of the biggest names in the sport of Golf have come together to add their knowhow to this luxury property and golfing resort, which will become the home to the world’s richest golf tournament, the Dubai World Championship from 2009 onwards.
Set to become one of the most renowned and prominent golfing communities in the world, Jumeirah Golf Estates combines luxury property with outstanding golf courses and facilities. The first phase of the development will see a total of 13 planned residential freehold communities being developed, offering somewhere in the region of 1000 homes for sale at this exclusive project. The development is spit into 4 distinct areas: Fire, Earth, Water and Wind. Each area features homes with different architectural styles, along with its own golf course. The Earth, Wind, Fire and Water courses will see designs from Greg Norman, Vijay Singh, Peter Dye and Sergio Garcia to really cement the projects golfing credentials, if holding the world’s richest golf tournament wasn’t enough for you!
The homes too go beyond what you might expect, and each of the 4 districts has something a little different to offer. The Fire area will offer buyers homes featuring Mediterranean and Tuscan styles, with rustic stone and brick used throughout. Drawing on Europe for its inspiration, the Earth district will be characterized by large parklands and greenery, broken up by some impressive water features. The Water district will perhaps unsurprisingly feature numerous water features, including lakes, wetlands, streams and even a waterfall. The theme here draws upon the Pacific Island’s and Florida. The Wind district will instead offer Arabian canals combined with open landscaping to give a feeling of space and tranquility.
So here we have a resort that is offering a great living environment combined with some of the best golf courses in the world! An impressive combination I think you will agree! Projects like this certainly don’t come around very often, not even in Dubai, so interested parties would do well to follow up on any interest they may have.
