Dubai PropertyOh....qood may not exactly roll off your tongue, but it is causing a stir in the land of Dubai freehold real estate. Oh qood is the Dubai governments new system to help create an online property price index, and it should helpfully further enhance the transparency of the Dubai property markets goings on. If successful, whilst the suggestion it could revolutionize the Dubai freehold property market maybe going a little over the top, it does have the potential to make some large and positive changes to the market place that should greatly befit both developers and customers. After all, for all its breathtaking freehold property and world wide acclaim, Dubai properties are still very much in its infancy, with less than a decade since things here really took off property wise.

Such has been the speed of Dubai’s awe-inspiring development that it is really very easy to forget that not a huge deal of time has passed in which to bed in and establish a clear and easily understandable legal frame work. As such, the Dubai government has been forced to play catch up and introduce more laws and measures to sure up the property market, and increase investor confidence. This has been steadily going on over the past few years, and Oh qood is just another step in ensuring Dubai’s legal framework is as impressive as its properties. And with the financial difficulties currently being experienced throughout the world putting the Dubai property market under pressure for the first time, the timing of the new rule tightening could no be better.

The online registration should hopefully minimize any potential conflict between developers and buyers of Dubai apartments and villas, and should also go someway to reducing the current costs associated with buying off plan Dubai property. With the likes of Law 13 already having been introduced to cut speculation within the property market, the legal side to buying or selling a property in Dubai is becoming ever simpler and more transparent. This in turn can only help boost investor confidence and help give the Dubai freehold property market an extra push, in what are difficult times all over the world. With over 80,000 Dubai homes already registered, Oqood is already well underway.
