Palm Jebel Ali:
As the second part of developer Nakheel’s ambitious palm trilogy, the Palm Jebel Ali also happens to be the island dedicated to entertainment. While the concept is mostly an expansion of the original Palm Jumeirah, but 50% larger, and it will feature freehold properties along the same lines as its predecessor, the Palm Jebel Ali will come with a few extra attractions for Dubai property investors. The location of the Palm Jebel Ali will be a bit further out from the city, right in heart of Jebel Ali and in close proximity to other freehold properties, with the intention of expanding the city even more.
This second island will feature freehold property for the rich, with signature villas and garden villas just like the Palm Jumeirah in larger quantities. While this may appeal to many property investors after seeing the success of the same villas on the practically complete original, what most Dubai property investors are most excited to see are the remarkable Water Homes, which will stand on stilts over the Arabian Sea. These unique properties characterise the variety of property that is available in Dubai, and as a result have sold extremely quickly and are difficult to procure. The Palm Jebel Ali will also have a wide range of the usual luxury apartments, town homes and penthouses expected from such a large project, with the addition of shopping malls, water parks and much, much more to keep residents and visitors fascinated for years to come. While the Palm Jebel Ali has become slightly delayed, this has been down to correcting the problems encountered with the Palm Jumeirah, and should be to the benefit of all Dubai property investors that have chosen to buy a home there.
The concept will be the same, but the Palm Jebel Ali will be more of a tourist attraction, featuring a water park amongst a whole host of entertainment attractions to draw in visitors and residents. As the Palm Jumeirah faced delays, so does the Jebel Ali Palm, and is expected to be completed later than predicted, but remains to be eagerly awaited by all.
The properties available on the Palm Jebel Ali will again feature luxury garden villas and signature villas with private swimming pools and private beaches for the latter. The selection of apartments, penthouses and town homes on the trunk will stretch beyond the original Palm, and include exclusive sub-developments from global names in property.
