Me and my wife love helping kids, so when we saw the signs  about the Autism benefit to raise money for children with Autism, all around Commerce Township, my wife decided to call and get more information. It's definately a great cause and worth inquiring about. It turns out this is the 2nd annual benefit. Last year over 800 people showed their support and hopefully there will be more this year. It would be hard to ignore this event considering the fact that my wife and I live in Commerce Michigan. I feel like it is important to support your local homeowners in a time of need.

There will be casino games including Texas Hold Em', Black Jack, Craps, and Roulette, and delicious gourmet food from over 20 different restaurants. The fun doesn't stop there, live and silent auctions, including a live band to loosen up the party. Anytime there is a lot of great food, and a great variety of drinks you can count on a good time.

The event is Thursday October 2, 2008 and it is being held at the exlcusive Edgewood Country Club located at 8399 Commerce Road in Commerce Township, Michigan 48382. It is just west of Union Lake Road and on the south side of Commerce Road. Keep in mind that Union Lake road is closed from Richardson to Commerce, so you will need an alternative route if you are coming down Haggerty.  

The cost is very reasonable with general admission tickets being only $25.00. You can also get V.I.P. Tickets for $75.00 but you also get $75.00 in casino chips and can drink all you want. So how could you go wrong? The V.I.P. tickets allow you access to the V.I.P. Champage Reception from 6:00-7:00.
