We have added a  really spacious 5 bedroom villa to our portfolio of La Zagaleta properties that is spread over an interior area of just under 1000m2. The website claimed it had its largest ever number of visitors on August 10th and they have been operating for 9 years. The magnitude of the slump showed clearly in their interim figures with gross profits down by 8%. However now they feel that the worst is over, citing that this slump was the worst in a generation. The company has seen a slowly improving market through the summer and had good monthly growth in July, in fact it was their second most profitable month ever.

Further to my last post another significantly reduced property has been added to our portfolio, with the vendor dropping his asking price from €329,000 to €199,000. Again, this complex is built by a publicly traded company and to a standard you would expect from a blue chip constructor.

Moving in to the commercial sector CB Richard Ellis cited Spain at the top of the transaction league in Europe, with some seriously large commercial deals being carried off.
