Douglasville Fall Festival Frenzy

Fall Festivals are always a great time to gather in Douglasville. There are many to choose from this year and this weekend kicks off the season.

Friday October 19

5:00-9:00 PM Bill Arp Elementary Fall Festival, new school location on Alexander Parkway,  Wristbands are $15 or tickets 4 for $1.

5:00-9:00 PM Chapel Hill Elementary Fall Festival, 4433 Coursey Lake Road,Free Admission

Saturday October 20

10:00 AM-3:00 PM South Douglas Elementary School Fall Festival, Highway 166 in Fairplay

11:00 AM-3:00 PM New Manchester Elementary School Fall Festival, 2242 Old Lower River Road,Free Admission

Friday, October 26th

Special Event:
1:30 PM Ribbon Cutting and Dedication of the New Douglas County Fire Station No.8, Mirror Lake. Tyson Road adj. to Elementary School. Come out and tour the new fire station with a performance by the Mirror Lake Elementary School Chorus.

5:30-8:00 PM Dorsett Shoals Elementary School Fall Festival, 5866 Dorsett Shoals Road

6:00-9:00 PM 11th Annual Chili Cook-off on O'Neal Plaza, Downtown Douglasville. Great Chili, competitors invited! Hay rides, children costume contest and more.http://www.artsdouglas.org/

6:30-8:30 PM Sweetwater Elementary School Fall Festival and Cook-Out,2505 East County Line Road

Saturday, October 27th

4:00- 8:00 PM Fall Festival at Douglasville 1st United Methodist Church, 6167 Prestley Mill Road, Free Admission

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m Awesome Autumn Celebration at Dorsett Shoals Baptist Church, 5633 Dorsett Shoals Rd

Halloween Night Festivities
Halloween, Wednesday, October 31st:

2;00-5:00 Pm Trick-or-Treating in the Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive, for children 12 and under

5:00 p.m Trunk-or-Treat at Heritage Baptist Church, 8800 Rose Avenue,free admission

6:00-9:00 PM Trunk-or-Treat at Douglasville 1st United Methodist Church,6167 Prestley Mill Road

6:00-8:30 PM Ephesus Baptist Church Fall Festival at Clinton Nature Preserve, Ephesus Church Road one mile west of Post Road, Free Admission
