There are many real estate agents in the Lexington KY real estate market and many of them are good at what they do. Why, then, should you choose me as your realtor when you have so many options when buying or selling a home?

I'm a lifelong Central Kentucky resident. I've lived in Lawrenceburg, Frankfort, Richmond and Lexington and spent a good deal of time in Georgetown, Nicholasville, Paris and Versailles, so I know this market very well. I know the benefits of one city over another and the drawbacks of most areas. When you work with me in finding a home, I make sure you're fully informed of the pluses and minuses regarding each area and specific houses in those areas. Only through helping buyers make informed decisions can I earn their referral business and referrals are the lifeblood of any real estate professional.

I won't pressure you to buy a home before you're ready. When I bought my first home many years ago, I remember meeting with several realtors who seemed far more interested in pushing me to buy they listings they had on the market than they were in helping me find the home that best fit my needs. As your real estate professional, I'll work hard to find the best home for you at the best price, and I won't stop looking until we find one that fits the bill. Would it be nice if you bought a house I have listed? Yes, of course it would, but it's more important to me that you find a home that really fits your needs because, once again, you're far more likely to refer business my way if you feel you've made a good investment in your home.

I'll fight aggressively to help you get the most house for your money. When you've finally found a home that will work for you (and/or your family), I'll fight tooth and nail to help you get that house for the best possible price with the most favorable terms. That's my job -- not pressuring you to buy before you're ready, but ensuring that when you have found the right house that you get the best deal on it.

I'm a home-staging professional. Now, you may think that staging homes is a benefit primarily for my listing/seller clients and of course, there's a lot of truth in that. When I stage clients' homes, the usually sell in 4-6 weeks instead of in 4-6 months and before there have been several downward price adjustments. But there's also a benefit to my buyer clients: I have the ability to really help you "see" the house -- see past the clutter, the bright paint, or possibly even the bad decor to help you see what kind of home you're really getting. This one skill alone has helped many buyers see "diamonds in the rough" that they may not have considered otherwise, but which ultimately ended up being fantastic choices. This also means, of course, that clients of mine who do need to sell their houses before they can make a purchase will be far more likely to get their houses sold after having them professionally staged.

I love what I do. How does this help you, you may ask? Well, it not only means I'm generally pleasant when I'm working with you but also that I work hard and often work long hours and I don't really mind because I truly enjoy it. If you've ever had the experience of working with an agent who "might" call you back a day or two after you called them, you know how frustrating it can be to have a part-time or half-hearted realtor working for you. I'm a full-time realtor who works primarily in Lexington KY and the surrounding area and because I truly enjoy what I do, I've been known to put in long hours without complaint.
