I'm not sure what a standard IDX Upgrade is? Vs. what I have? I may be interested in this if it applies to me.

I also want to get an estimate for creating a "community" page template that shows links of price ranges for homes, list of homes, etc., that I can then clone for other communities. I would also perhaps like to put this on my home page as well and maybe with another thing to spice up my home page.

So...I'm not sure how many hours to buy as I need some estimates and the question answered for the idx question above.

Morgan- My mls is the NWMLS and you have a download agreement with my broker. Can I set-up a core IDX on my rew site or will I have to be content with the iframe?

Wow 9 AM and already all these comments :) First of all thank you again to everyone for your warm sentiments we truly are blessed.

Now onto some questions, I will try to get to them in order.

Darlene - yes you can order CORE IDX whether you have an REW site or not, but if you don't have an REW site you forego many of the high end benefits such as the intellegence capturing of the lead management and the search engine friendly snippet functionality (both depend on CMS integration) but yes you can order it.

Normal CORE IDX setup is $2500 - 50% off means it's only $1250 (This is the most common order at REW btw and the best investment you can make with the exception of an LEC) There is also standard $360 USD hosting per year that applies per IDX data feed.

Mark Z - standard REW IDX upgrades are outlined here http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/upgrades/idx-enhancements.php and no a custom radius search is not one of them. What you would need to do is purchase programming hours (in blocks of 5) to accomplish that task, you should probably buy 2 blocks at least. So 10 hours - if you don't use them all on the radius search, they are banked for other future projects which as a long time REW customer you know will happen and soon anyways :)

As for items 2 and 3, you need both programming and design, they can't be purchased in single hours, they need to be purchased in blocks of 5 per category sorry - sounds like you will only need 1-2 hours on your blog and probably only 1 hour of programming so not sure if that works for you, but you are welcome to buy a 5 hour programming block and a 5 hour design block - once again, the balance would be banked. Ben - although our writers are trained in SEO - the promo only covers writing time - which is the consultation, research and production of on page content. They would not be doing traditional SEO activities such as advanced keyword research, website architecture or analytics work, SEO training / consulting etc. So the "writing time" means the production of on page unique (and search engine friendly) content.

Keyword conversion tool - for those that have asked (and no you can't buy it yet because it doesn't have a price, we need to do a few installs first before we can price it) anyways.

Click on this tool and you will see three sortable columns - keyword phrase, search engine, leads

Keyword phrase is an alphabettical list of all keywords that brought actual conversions (not just traffic) to your website captured via any REW contact form or registration form.

Search Engine - refers to the search engine that brought the keyword phrase.

Leads is the column where the count of how many leads for that particular phrase have been generated.

Each keyword phrase is clickable to give you a detaild view of the leads that were brought by that specific phrase. If you use the lead tagging (such as tagging a lead to "closed" once you have converted them into a deal) it gives you a very nice at a glance look at not only what keywords are performing into lead conversion, but also sale conversion.

Hopefully that helps for those folks that wanted to know what this module does. It's quite handy and really lets you know what your premier keywords are.

Richard - for your conversion (if you are talking www.viprealtyinfo.com) - absolutely no idea brother, sorry - you have so many dang customizations I would hate to have to hazzard a guess - I would say more than 15-20 hours if I had to put some number to you.

As for finishing the lead manager - what lead manager? We aren't working on a new lead manager - you might be thinking about the calendar module (for) our lead manager, and I am currently testing the final version right now and I will probably announce it's availability at the REW Summit (first crack will be given to those who attend the summit)

Justin, speaking from experience as a past #1E client, you might want to consider an REW-LEC site during this promo. Unless you are getting a huge volume of leads now from your #1 site (yours looks far better than most of them), an REW site set up properly, with custom IDX, should far outperform a #1 site. Your long term ROI should improve as a result. It was a happy day when we dumped our #1 site. And, yes, I am a biased client based on actual results. Even a basic REW template site I set up, do nothing to it and never add any new content gets daily leads.

That website looks really good Morgan. As long as it has something similar to the Blue / Dark Blue color scheme available, I'm very good with it. Ryland - nice to meet you. If someone could draw up something with all of those recommendations Morgan has so I can make sure we're with in budget, I would appreciate it. There is no real financial benefit to paying for the template before Friday, right? If so, let me know. I just want to make sure I pay for all the discounted upgrades first, then if need be - the extra hosting fees for the IDX, etc can get paid next week. (should be able to take care of everything today, just making sure I get what is needed).

Actually yes LEC 4 is the first LEC to offer multiple color schemes

As for those other options - no they are not "standard" (They are common add ons) but never standard.

I am not sure if LEC 4 is available in your area, I would have to check, I think it's sold - are you interested?

Sorry Adam, I was wrong - LEC 4 is available in Sarasota, it was sold in Venice which is not considered the same region. So yes it's available :) (Version 2 and 3 are gone for sure there though)

Happy belated birthday! Sheesh, I'm at the bottom of the barrel here. Anyway, here's my order:

1. IDX - Can a search by address option be added that would take into consideration omitting directional letters (E., W., S., N.) or that would work for someone that actually spelled it out (east, west, etc.)? If this wouldn't work well then I wouldn't want to use it. Just asking at this point.

2. IDX - On the Property Search page I need to add the following two choices:

Garage - yes or no - if yes, how many cars minimum?

Basement - yes or no


3. IDX - On the Search Page I would like to get rid of Min. Square feet and Min. Acres. Square feet is not required in our MLS and most listings do not have this info. If prospects request it they won't get much in return, if anything.

4. Not sure how this fits in here, but I need help reconfiguring my Buyer Form snippet and I can't figure it out. I wanted the price range to be different (instead of a selection of price ranges, I'd like a blank box for their starting price "to" another blank box with their top price.

Ryland, I thought IDX changes were 50% off - most of those changes were to my IDX. Is that search by address feasible? I'm afraid that if it won't work properly (with limited or too much information put in by a prospect), that I don't want to go with it. I'd still like an opinion on that before I decide on it.

Without the address search feature, 5 hours seems high for the rest. Are you sure?

I'll take 5 hours. Probably programming, but maybe some design. I put in an estimate for a community sql snippet (currently estimated at 1 hour of programming) and adding a top-level menu item (not sure if that is design or programming). I also want to get some ideas on what I can do with the remainder hours to perhaps liven up my home page perhaps with another snippet or two?

When I was reading about XML/HTML Sitemapping the paragraph said especially good for "High Authority REW Sites" Is something my site could benefit from right now by doing, or is my site too pre-mature for this now and this would be good for later on down the line since I am just now about to go live with an LEC 2?

Mark you would not want to add it to your existing site (because it doesn't have REW IDX) but you definitely want to add it to your new LEC 2.

Markz - we have never done what you are asking for (and it looks like just from your forum thread that there is going to be a lot of back and forth) so I honestly have no idea - but I would say "lots" - at least 10 hours design, 20-30 hours programming (this is very rough at this point it could be 50 hours you never know with this kind of unchartered territory)

I plan to put it on all my city pages and it would be awesome if you came up with a way to have it auto populate. I don’t like the thought of having to maintain them all!
I have a few things I would like to order but have a question first. One of the things I’m interested in is the IDX directions upgrade. I thought it was essentially the same thing as StreetView so there must be something I'm missing. I think I'm going to add WalkScore to my Details page, too. People are wild about it here.

You guys are building me a custom site with IDX and I was wondering what is a must have for the IDX? I believe that we already have the Bird's eye view with the local board but what about street view? Would I be better off buying some design/programming hours as it looks like some of the mapping tools that I'd like would be custom and if so would I need design or programme hours? what about the XML/HTML? not sure what that is. My budget is limited so what would be the best bang for my buck?

Erika - as far as I know, you only have CORE IDX so any / all of the common IDX upgrades would be $ well spent as far as i'm concerned. Was just looking at what I (think) is your final mockup at http://comps.rewdev.com/mccann-erika/comp4c.jpg and it appears you already have a quick search, so no need to add that to your list. But if you like any of the cool advanced mapping tools, I don't think they will ever be more than 50% off, so now is a good time time buy.

Erika, what your local board has is not relevant, as we are talking a "built in" IDX that I have given you, which means unless you order the upgrade features, you won't have them by default. Your boards IDX platform / website is mutually exclusive from your REW IDX site.

I am not sure if this was every brought up but how do we track our work orders? Since the hours/upgrades we purchased were on this blog and not on a new work order thread, what is the next step here to speak with our assigned designer/programmer?

How do you track them? Orders will be assigned in order of when they were received - as a member gets a new project assigned, they send an email to the customer stating who they are and what portion of thier project they are responsible for. When complete the member should also notify you that they are signing off.

At any time (this goes for any customer at any time and any REW project) you can always email production @ realestatewebmasters.com and request a status update. You need to include your name, URL and the details of the project requesting updates on (many times customers have many concurrent projects so we need to know which one you are inquiring about)

Yours specifically Mike should be quite far back in the queue as your orders was processed near the end of the promo.
