Dr. Phillips little known happy hour on Restaurant Row

Last week TeamConnect's faithful and diligent assistant Stacy Read recommended I try Moon Fish in Dr. Phillips'  famous "Restaurant Row".  Knowing my taste for Oysters on the half shell, fresh Sushi and a good deal I was not disappointed. 

Located at 7525 West Sand Lake across the street from the Samba Room, Moon Fish features a happy hour to die for.  Half off fresh Sushi and 10 cent Oysters from 4:30 to 6:30 Monday through Friday but you better hurry while it last. 

With a Pacific flair Moon Fish is relaxing and entertaining watching Sushi chefs stuffing and chucking while we were being served by attentive bartender Scott. 

We started with a small bottle of distilled Saki, very smooth and from there jumped right into the peanut Calamari, excellent, I never had Calamari cooked this way.  Next was two dozen half shell Oysters, hey they're only 10 cents each and an appetizer called Volcano which main ingredient is crab meat, my favorite.  The jumbo dollar shrimp was mouth watering with the fresh horseradish and cocktail sauce. I will definitely return to Dr. Phillips' Moon Fish for another happy hour!

Update:  After revisting Moon Fish for another great happy hour of fresh seafood the Oysters on the half shell went up 25 cents each.  Don't blame Annie and I we just ate our share .
