Recently the California Association of Realtors approved a motion that could lead to a state wide MLS.  I personally think this is real progress in our industry that will foster efficiency and innovation.

I have run into problems with my regional boards and regional MLS's here in South Carolina wanting my entire company (brokerage house) to join their MLS before they will allow any single realtor to join. In other words, the realtor and the realtor's entire firm or brokerage house must join the MLS, adding to everyone's expenses.  Some of these policies are just outright ridiculous  in  my opinion.

Fall For Greenville 07 Has Another Great Turn Out!

 

 

For those who do not know, Fall For Greenville is an annual event where downtown Greenville closes off Main Street and Restaurants set up tents and serve food for every taste and preference imaginable.

 

Live bands play, there are games, rides, contests, and of course plenty of food and beverages. Admission is totally free and tickets for food and beverages are 5.00 dollars per sheet.   Most servings are between 4and 6 dollars.

Downtown Greenville Real Estate Continues to Impress

The Terrace at Riverplace nears Completion in Greenville

The top three floors in the Terrace at Riverplace are nearing completion and a good number of  units have been closed out on the 8th, 7th, and 6th floors. Downtown Greenville's Multi-million dollar Falls Park

The Greater Greenville Real Estate Market offers several old historic textile mills that have been converted to modern day condos.  These mills were originally part of a thriving textile industry here in Greenville and Upstate South Carolina.    The Downtown Greenville SC Condominium Market is booming!

           

When much of the country has been experiencing price corrections in local real estate markets, the Greater Greenville South Carolina area has actually finished the 2006 year roughly 10% above 2005 numbers. This steady growth has carried over into Greenville’s downtown condominium market, fueling sales and new development.
