4th Of July Fireworks In Mira Mesa
Every year fireworks are set off from Mira Mesa High School on 4th of July at 9:00pm which makes it an anual tradition for Mira Mesa residents to gather at the Mira Mesa Community Park to watch this wonderful display. But don't forget about the other festivities during the day. Starting at 11:30am will be the parade that goes through Mira Mesa Blvd. and at 12:30pm starts all the fun activities at the Community Park such as Booth Games, Rides and much more.
So if you don't have any thing planned for the 4th, come on down to Mira Mesa Community Park, have some fun and end it off with some Fireworks!

Number of Detached Homes for Sale: 72
Yes, only 72 Detached homes for sale in Mira Mesa. What is crazy is I was looking up my old blogs on Mira Mesa real estate and on November 26, 2007, there was 192 homes. Click here to read that old blog. So with the inventory is so low, there are multiple offers on these homes. Not only that, most of these homes for sale are Short Sales so if you are a buyer for one of these Short Sales, don't expect to move in anytime soon.

Today was the first time I went to the Mira Mesa Caravan. If you don't know what that is, well the Mira Mesa Caravan is where Realtors pitch their listings in Mira Mesa to other Realtors. And after the pitch session, we go and look at the homes that was pitched. This can also be called Broker Caravan. Anyways, I wanted to see how other Realtors were doing in this market in Mira Mesa. And it was exactly what I expected. These great Realtors were having trouble getting their Buyers a home. Homes are selling fast with multiple offers. Also a Realtor brought up a great statistic during the caravan. She pulled up every detached home for sale under $400,000 and about a third of those homes for sale were Short Sales with Accepted…

Mira Mesa Real Estate Update
The Mira Mesa Real Estate Market is HOT! Most of the offers I have been writing for my buyers have already multiple offers on the table. And not only that, these houses been on the market for a short period of time. So I took a look at the total number of Detached homes Active for sale in Mira Mesa today and it shows 147. Then I looked at how many were Pending and it shows 89. Now I compared it to my blog on Mira Mesa Real Estate on December 29, 2007. Back then they had 185 Active homes for sale and only 39 homes Pending. That means there are 21% less homes for sale and 228% increase on homes Pending. Here is an update on Mira Mesa's real estate market. Right now the Mira Mesa market has plenty of Short Sales and Foreclosures for sale. But what I noticed is that the homes that are well maintained are selling faster than the homes that are about $25,000 less that needs work to be done. Mira Mesa Homes And Condo (San Diego)

Mira Mesa is probably the best bang for your buck community in San Diego. You can buy a single family under $450,000 or even a condo under $200,000. So what about the location you ask...well you are only about 15-20 minutes drive (depending on traffic) to the beaches, downtown, Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and Sea World. Not only that, the Mira Mesa neighborhood has great restaurants, parks, shopping and convenience stores. As for schools, Mira Mesa is part of the San Diego school district and about a 15 minute drive to UCSD and a 20 minute drive to SDSU (depending on traffic).
